What To Expect
Whether you’re an avid angler or a first-timer, we’re excited to have you aboard. When you fish with us, you’re guaranteed a fun, safe, and memorable experience.
It will take you roughly an hour to drive from your cabin in Ninilchik to Stewart’s Landing Boat Launch in Soldotna. After meeting with our expert freshwater fishing guide, you’ll be briefed about your day and head out on the Kenai River.
The Boat
Our Kenai River fishing trips are facilitated by a 21-foot Koffler power boat that seats 4. You’ll have plenty of sitting and standing room during your excursion.
The Expedition
Depending on the season, you'll target Kings, Sockeyes, or Silver salmon.
Your expert guides will take you to the most optimal fishing locations, based on the season. This is a morning trip lasting between six and eight hours. The exact departure time varies and is provided at the time of booking. Depending on the time of year, you'll have the option of fly fishing or trolling techniques and gear.
Kasilof River Salmon Fishing Trips
What To Expect
Kasilof river fishing is definitely an unparalleled experience. The river offers ample opportunity for anglers of all ages and experience levels.
It takes about 45 minutes to drive from your cabin in Ninilchik to the Kasilof River Boat Launch. Our guided expeditions are led by experienced anglers who are familiar with the locations that produce the most salmon, no matter which season. After meeting with our expert freshwater fishing guide, you’ll be briefed about your day and head out on the Kasilof River.
The Boat
For Kasilof River trips, we use a 19-foot Willie Drift Boat that seats 4. Our boats are piloted by a USCG-licensed captain and staffed by licensed fishing experts to help you get the most our of your day.

Alaska Fly-Out Salmon Fishing
Several of our fishing packages include fly-out excursions to the remote waters of Alaska on the west side of the Cook Inlet. These locations are otherwise inaccessible, and you’ll experience unique access via a floatplane.
What To Expect
A fly-out fishing adventure provides a multi-faceted experience. In addition to salmon fishing, you’ll be able to take in a wide range of everything Alaska has to offer, including wildlife viewing and photo opportunities in front of rugged peaks and shimmering glaciers.
A fly-out trip is guaranteed to elevate your salmon fishing experience to an entirely new level. Each trip is limited to five anglers, and catches are limited to three per person.
The Expedition
Your morning will start in Soldotna. After meeting with our float plane pilot and expert salmon fishing guide, you’ll be briefed about your day and head to the west side of the Cook Inlet for all-day remote Alaskan fishing.
The plane trip takes approximately 20 minutes, and our fly-out fishing trip destinations include coveted spots along Big River Lake, the Kustatan River, and Bachatna Creek.

What Do I Need To Bring?
- Fishing licenses
- Harvest cards are required for all children 16 and under, as well as residents who utilize a permanent card as their fishing license
- A king salmon stamp is required to keep any King salmon you catch, and can be purchased online
- Meals, snacks, and drinks. Coolers are OK. Glassware is not
- Personal protective items such as sunscreen

Fish Processing & Shipping
We offer easy and convenient processing for $1.00 per pound.
Fish are processed throughout the duration of your stay. There are two different options to bring your fish home.
- On your final day, we will schedule a pick-up time for all your processed fish, and you’ll pick up your fish before you leave for Anchorage. We package the fish in a travel box for you to check as luggage at the airport.
- Have your fish shipped directly to your home. Shipping options include FedEx Overnight or FedEx 2-Day. Delivery costs run from $200 up.
